Sugar Dating Is NOT Hooking
Confession / / Mar 02, 2017
So this beautiful lady is in a relationship with a six-figure salary bulky man a few years older than her in exchange for financial stability, companionship and sometimes loves. Is this hooking? No! Sugar relationships cannot be considered as hooking despite the many similarities that threaten to confirm this theory.
Unlike hooking, sugar relationships are planned for; both parties are in it willingly since they are mature people who know what they want and go for it. Hooking on the other hand may involve one party being immature and unwilling to participate, unavoidable, often, financial circumstances being the sole reason for such engagements. It cannot therefore, be referred to as a relationship because the parties neither have a common goal nor keep seeing each other. If the client wishes to see the hooker again, they only relate professionally. Sugar relationships may however also involve the sugar daddy providing financial support for the sugar baby.
Hooking is viewed as service delivery between the client and the hooker. It does not involve emotions or feelings and is a onetime encounter that never goes beyond the two parties exchanging pleasantries and of course hitting an agreeable bargain.Heck, the parties don’t even know each other’s names in most occasions, sugar relationships on the other hand are involving and emotional. The involved parties get to know each other and may develop mutual feelings as a result.Succesful sugar relationships may progress to the most advanced level of all relationships, marriage! If the sugar daddy and sugar baby are content with each other’s company and the feeling of love pitches tent in their relationship they may mutually agree to make their relationship official. However, hooking experiences are often deemed disgraceful and neither of the parties would fancy making it a lasting relationship!
